Sloan’s Lake

Sloan’s Lake takes its name from the 177-acre park at its center — a body of water large enough for fishing, boating, waterskiing, and jet skiing, making it the only park in Denver where those water sports are permitted. That singular fact sets this neighborhood apart from the start, but Sloan’s Lake delivers on every other dimension as well. The surrounding streets offer some of Denver’s most appealing residential architecture: red and blonde brick ranch homes, Victorian cottages, and stately Tudors share blocks with mountain views to the west and city skyline views to the east, a combination that rarely fails to stop a potential buyer in their tracks.

The SloHi retail strip along West Colfax brings dining, coffee, and neighborhood retail to the doorstep, while proximity to LoHi, Edgewater, and downtown Denver ensures that entertainment options are never limited. The neighborhood’s growing popularity has translated directly into market strength: 194 homes closed at an average of $962,252 in 2024. Sloan’s Lake is among Denver’s most coveted addresses — a neighborhood where the lake is always the backdrop, the mountains are always in view, and the community continues to only get better.
